You don’t have to go through this alone. We offer small, intentional therapy groups to create space to connect meaningfully with others who can relate. We believe shame thrives in secrecy, so our relational therapy groups can give you a space to practice vulnerable self expression, reduce internalized stigma, practice therapeutic skills, and gain perspective on your values + goals.

“I’m feeling quite satisfied and inspired by what the last few months has brought from the group. Each person has left a mark on me and made me think + approach my own assumptions and feelings differently. I have found myself on multiple occasions feeling much more connected to those in my life and being able to silence my internal dialogue and ego. Thank you for leading this experience for me and being so committed to the emotional well being of the group.” — NYMHC Member

It’s normal to feel nervous. Facilitators provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. Members often find that sharing and hearing others’ experiences reduces shame and builds confidence in their own voice.
